Kelly D. Brown P.E., Shareholder
Kelly Brown has practiced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) law since 1991.   Kelly’s legal practice is a broad-based one as he handles EHS-related litigation, transactional matters, remediation projects, and compliance counseling. He defends corporate clients in various personal injury and toxic tort lawsuits and administrative proceedings brought by governmental agencies and represents both plaintiffs and defendants in environmental cost recovery litigation and property damage lawsuits.  Kelly works with the firm’s corporate and real estate attorneys to allocate risk in various mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions.

Cory R. Thornton, Senior Associate
His practice focuses on various areas of environmental, health and safety law, including litigation, permitting, regulatory compliance, and real estate counseling.  He routinely deals with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and other regulatory agencies, assisting clients with air, waste, and water permitting and compliance matters.   He also represents clients in civil and administrative proceedings, involving such issues as violations of state and federal law, cost recovery actions under Superfund laws, and tort claims for property damage and personal injury.
